Wait Until Dark is aptly named, almost enticing you, knowing that it’s climactic scene will be saving the best until last. Sometimes I just can’t believe I took so long to watch this film. 

A masterpiece in suspense and thrills leading up to a straight up horror movie in the last eight minutes. When she’s lighting the matches I was absolutely smiling, so happy to be experiencing something perfect. When Alan Arkin literally flew in the air to grab her ankle I’m pretty sure I wet myself. Modern day horror films have definitely borrowed and winked at this one.
