I think that makes more sense then the movie.

I think I get it? But, maybe not. This is a really slow burn with what eventually kinda fizzles out without much to show for it.  Having been a huge fan of his previous three movies it’s really hard for me to call this a bad movie. This is a very well made movie, it’s well acted and drives home the brutality of being cut off and alone. Don’t pick a favorite character or get close to any of them, Saulnier will rip their throat out. Or shoot their throats out. Or bow and arrow their throats out. There’s gunna be buckets of blood.
