I’M NOT CRYING! YOU’RE CRYING!
I don’t even know where to start.
The direction of this movie is fantastic. This whole movie just breathes. It was an experience. I connected with this movie a lot. Bradley Cooper was great as was Gaga. Sam Elliot made me cry twice. I’ll never forget him hearing Jackson tell him he looked up to him, and then looking behind to back the truck up and alllllll the emotion. I’ll not soon forget that red truck in the driveway and the limp body in the window. It’s a devastating gut punch but it’s beautiful and it’s human. It touches on alcoholism in ways I don’t believe I’ve seen on screen. Cooper better win a friggen award. Loved it. I can’t wait to see it again.
