Why why why am I crying during a sequel to a low budget blumhouse horror movie. Oh, because it’s perfect.
This movie knows exactly what it is and it’s audience. It’s borrowing, ( and nodding) from groundhogs day and Back to the Future with great gusto. This one swings for the fences with a smile. The parallel universes and time loops and how they bring in the first movie is very clever and if they make a universe for this, I’m here for it. Jessica Rothe is a star in the making with these, I hope this gets her noticed more.
