Always unflinching and uncompromising, Spike Lee has given us another great joint. John David sure is a chip off the ol’ block! Between him and the Buscemi brother it was hard not to keep their counterparts out of my head. John David Washington is a fantastic anchor for this ship and it’s crew of supporting cast keep this afloat. Adam Driver and Topher Grace stand out but it was a group effort. Maybe a tad bit long, but necessary viewing.
